Job Descriptions

Senior & Field Applications Engineers; Sacramento CA area - USA

We are looking for engineers responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support for development and implementation of our customer verification environment using our hardware accelerator. Activities include making presentations on all aspects of products, assist sales staff in assessing potential application of our product to meet customer needs, evaluate customer criteria, and offer a detailed analysis of applying our hardware accelerator to meet customer needs. We are looking for engineers with strong leadership qualities and communication skills.

Requirements:

Requires a BSEE degree plus 2-5 years exp for FAE and 5-10 years exp for Sr. FAE in product applications, ability to understand and explain related technical issues, thorough knowledge of company products, all potential applications and effective communication skills. Prior sales AE or FAE experience would be a big plus.

Preferred Experience

  • Verilog/System Verilog
    • Language understanding – Semantics, Scheduling
    • RTL Subset definition – understand the fringes and corners
    • Should have coded non trivial RTL blocks
  • Testbenches
    • Should have coded PLI/DPI routines
  • Verification
    • Knowledge of advanced verification methodologies
  • Debug
    • Disciplined, methodical approach to debug complex designs
    • Experience debug other people’s code/designs
  • Design Management
    • Knowledge of RCS/CVS, perl/tcl
  • Tools
    • Simulator: NC-Verilog, VCS or ModelSim
    • Source and Waveform Debuggers
    • Synplify, Design Compiler

Senior Field Applications Engineer; Taiwan

Job requirements:

You are an electronics engineer who has supported verification-related EDA products or used these tools as a customer.

  • BSEE degree and 5+ years of experience in IC design and verification with good understanding of ASIC/SOC design flows
  • Understanding of transaction-based methodologies and software development is highly desired
  • Solid industry network and customer relationships, with ability to interact with engineers and mid-level management
  • Team player with excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Dynamic and keen to learn new advanced technologies related to our activities

Experience:

  • You have working knowledge of Verilog/VHDL, you have coded non trivial RTL blocks
  • You have written testbenches in Verilog and C++
  • You have debugged complex designs, either yours or other people’s code, with a disciplined, methodical approach
  • You have working knowledge of one of the major HDL simulators: NC-Sim, VCS or ModelSim
  • Knowledge of hardware-assisted verification techniques is a plus
  • Working knowledge of ESL environments (Coware, System-C, VMM, SystemVerilog) is a plus
